The sun was rising
over the shore.
I was exploring
its beautiful glow.
It was still kind of dark,
I just found a penny
right next to the bark.
Oh shiny penny,
what can I buy?
A doll, a horse,
or maybe a sweet pie?
Maybe I’ll put it
under the sand
and a big tree of pennies
will appear on the land.
